INTO THE MOONLIGHT

The day's world is lost to this dweller, in peace, I sail skies of shiny scheme.
The night, has never let me down,
and the moon has always been good to me.
Rest is not what I know of this time,
what I know of it, is traveling to places no other has ever seen.
There is nothing to fear here,
just an old home,
creatures of faith and creed.
My only fear is the day,
and the bodily need of rest and sleep.
The night, has never let me down,
and the moon has run with me,
free.
In awe of the universe,
how can you close your eyes,
and sleep.
Is it strange that I don't want to leave all this,
or is it strange that this is, where you don't want to be.
